I just noticed your DP store sign and thought I'd pass along what I know about it. I believe it's a 1936 sign that was actually either sold with wooden blanks for the store name or instructions for adding your own. I remember seeing it in a bottlers' catalog and thinking that the wooden name plates seemed a little low-tech. I bought one of these in the 80s at a flea market in Tulsa because it was hard to pass up for the price , but when I got to my car, which was an '84 Toronado, I realized there was more sign than available car space. Rare sign.
