Vase is 8 1/2 inches tall, looks to be hand-painted over incised pattern, crackled....I purchased it at an online auction, just because I liked it ! I was told it was Japanese, but I am no expert! The grasshopper and the quail are very delicately painted. I did the best that I could copying the signature.
