Perhaps these were orthopedic type shoes for a horse or even some other animal. Anyone out there know? Or perhaps they weren't finished.
Anyhow, the luck will never run out of these!

You give me far too much credit Cindy, until today I had never heard of them either :-)
These are special shoes for horses that need support for the frog area of the hoof. Very expensive and well made. I used to train and teach horses for 30 years jumpers and dressage.
With that much experience with horses I think you can mark this one solved & give the credit to Moon.
