    21st december 1989, xmas party at hawkesley day centre at 2 stockmans close , kings norton-birmingham. b38.
    demolished in 2013 due to council cuts
    1-car park and building
    2-the office where you ordered dinners and traveling expenses paid-eg bus fares.
    3 and 4 -xmas dinner in the canteen.
    building now demolished and car park/grounds fenced off.

      sounds like a sad story .... happening all over the country ..........signs of the times I guess.........

      thanks roycroftbooksfromme1-actually it was expensive to run as clients were coming in taxis, minibuses and buses all paid for by council and there were social workers benefit advisers, canteen staff, cleaners and caretakers , heating and lighting, etc.
