While I usually look for antiques and collectibles when I go thrifting, I do keep an eye out for rare collectible video games as well. Having had my own store for a few years until the recession hit. It's still something I enjoy although I don't play much anymore. Most of the time there is nothing much to speak of. Well today I snagged three factory sealed copies of "Conker Live and Reloaded" for the original X box from our local GW. Earning an "M" rating for it's violence, language, and the general "potty" humor, this was a game every kid under 17 wanted and tried to trick Grandma into buying them. Cue the responsible store owner (bwa ha ha) and let the whining commence. It's predecessor on the N64 was always valuable but now these are too. I checked on Ebay and Amazon and they are selling for around one hundred if not a few hundred dollars a piece for "factory" sealed. Not that people are getting that kind of money all the time but those are the prices I'm seeing. I almost didn't buy them, but for five dollars a piece I figured I could give them as gifts. I'm glad I did ! Merry Christmas to me ! -Mike-

Checked them here too:
