Here is a grouping of mantique smalls.
Military items many of them sterling. Military Wings including a rare sets, sterling rank insignia and sweet heart pieces every family member that has served.
Watch fobs advertising for a Paris Texas publisher, as well as others. There is a lace fob in black and a watch chain. All these are from my early days of collecting. The Sterling CASU badge is a particularly fond find as it is WWII Navy.

I left off the bakelite pencil sharpener on top shaped like a WWI tank, a 1969 hot Wheel Paddy Wagon, the Telescoping Mechanical Pencil and the Pflueger Hande-Pak of fish hooks tin and the mini binoculars charm.
Quite the display!!! Very nice!
I like that Pacific Fleet badge, infact I like the whole display. Very nice AR8Jason
Hello TOM ... The Pacific Fleet Badge is Sterling Silver with blue enamel. It was for a CASU 14 Police Petty Officer. (Carrier Air Support Unit). ...
He was like a Master-at-Arms for the unit.
This is from WWII. Found in an antique story 25 years ago in Duncan Oklahoma.
Macario G. Chavez, served with CASU-14 from 1943 to 1944 at Munda Point, New Georgia. New Georgia is the largest island of the Western Province of the Solomon Islands.
I haven't researched the history of the unit on navy history sites, but a quick google turned up the above info, so for at least part of the time they were in the Solomons.
*~*Mantiques!!*~* I never heard that term before... I love it!! :D
Thanks for all the loves and like folks. Just checking over them tonight and I think this post has the most.
