1960s west german studio art pottery gourd shaped vase, made by the famous potters couple annemarie and werner schmidt tummeley. wonderful pale blue crystalline glazed body. the couple opened their workshop in juist in 1949 short after their marriage.
as far as i know the forms are by annemarie and the glaze has been werner schmidt tummeleys speciality.
series and unique pieces has been made in their workshop and as far as i know the unique ones showed the ST mark.
the original price sticker is till underneath and 75DM has been a lot of money for a vase at that time...
height: 28cm (11inch)
fully marked underneath with both marks, the juist and the ts mark
