I have this absolutely stunning silver bracelet, chunky and very heavy. I can make out the silver content is 830 and the date is 1922. The rest of the markings including the signature are difficult to make out. Is there anybody out there who can help me identify? Much appreciated, Gail (The signature begins with a "T" and towards the end it looks like "aine" or "oise"
Your lovely bracelet is actually Finnish and the year is somewhere in the 70's not in the 20's. The bracelet is designed by renowned Jorma Laine. Similar design is produced also in bronze, but the silver designs are more rare and very desirable amongst the Scandinavian jewellery lovers/collectors. If you can read out the year mark, you should check that on the Finnish year mark table that is can be found for example here http://www.925-1000.com/Ffinland_Date_Code.html.
