PIC. 1: LET US START WITH A PICTURE FROM RICKE II-584. IT SHOWS SEVERAL SHAPES FOR BOTH AUSF AND SCHAUM.
ALSO LOOK AT RICKE II-264

PIC. 2: .DEALER DESCRIPTION:
This Czech art glass vase is 6 1/8 inches tall and 5 5/8 inches in diameter at the top rim. Acid stamped Made in Czecho-slovakia on base in center of ground pontil. Very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

THE REAL DESCRIPTION: THE VASE WAS CREATED WITH AN OPTIC DEPTH EFFECT. IN OTHER WORDS, SPOTS WERE ADDED AT DIFFERENT DENSITIES. FIRST, BLUE GRAY SPOTS, THEN THE BRIGHT RED SPOTS ON TOP, AND THE GOLD AVENTURINE. THE DARK EFFECT COVERING THE UPPER VASE COMES FROME THE INTERACTION BETWEEN THE TWO DIFFERENT COLORED SETS OF SPOTS.

pIC. 3. AS TO THE MARK, AT FIRST IT WAS REALLY INVISIBLE. HOWEVER, I HAD NO PROBLEM PHOTOGRAPHING IT PROVIDED I USED FLASH. "CZECHO" IS INDENTED TO MAKE A MORE HARMONIOUS MARK.I WOULD DATE THIS PIECE TO THE LATE 30'S, AT THE VERY END OF LOETZ PRODUCTION. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS NO DESIGN BOOK YET FOR THIS PERIOD. PERFECTLY POLISHED.

PIC. 4: A COMPARISON SHOT WITH A LARGER -SIZED SHAUM IN THE SAME SHAPE.

I agree that this is most likely a later Loetz production. For what it's worth, there are quite a few later decors which we have not seen very often, and even plenty of earlier decors. I own at least three vases in decors I have never seen offered for sale before or since. I hope that we will see a pattern book from Jitka Lnenickova before too long for Series III production so that we can put names to the decors. Anyone who has searched for Loetz on ebay.de will know that 1930s decors that are hard to find in the US are fairly common in Germany, meaning they were not exported in large numbers.
