Bargain buy of the week - this 8" tall enameled piece in yellow-green glatt, enameled, pastry bag style, in some type of pod florals (poppy?). UPDATE: I have located the Dek number for this flower! - it is Dek IV/714 - source to be published in an update article. The Max Emmanuel line drawings sometimes reference the Loetz shape numbers, as they have in this case. The notation on the top, L 3146, refers to Series I, shape 3146 (the regular Loetz production number), which is not published separately in the Musterschnitte. The Max Emmanuel commission number is 346/336, as is also indicated.

I'm tempted to start a pre-1900 Loetz page to better document the Victorian era (pre Paris 1900) Loetz as the focus, as well as majority of documentation, seems to dwell on their post 1900 iridescent work, yet they did a tremendous amount of "Victorian" era glass.
I'm sure there is (a Dek#), Brian, but I don't know what it is - just another flower to add to the file until the number comes along.
Nice piece ... L3146 is 1890-91 ... by numerical proximity ... Does the Max Emmanuel reference mention Dek's ... thought MaxE were mostly in Bronze and Creta Glatt ...
The Emmanuel commission drawings in the Musterschnitte occasionally mention a Dek (I/107, I/59, etc) but early on and not very often.
