Most people would not think of these as Welz. In fact, one of them is not.
The pieces in the first and second pictures appear in Butler Brother catalogs from the 30's. BUT: the small vase in the third picture is not Welz but British cottage glass! The very tall (14") vases in the last picture might have been used as shelf rests. Welz and Kralik were related by marriage; many times Welz glass is attributed to Kralik.

The same glass treatment of the small vase in photo three is also available as a fairy lamp. I assumed it to be Bohemian in orgin. I am not familiar with the term British "cottage glass" could you explain.
I would not be surprised. Czech exporting catalogs are full of lamps of all types. Cottage glass was made by British artisans after work, and taken home, to their "cottages". There is a very good article by John Franks in The Glass Collector's Digest (V1:1998). It is he who classifies the small vase as British "Cottage." However, given the confusion between British and Czech glass, I'd be inclined to go with Czech. Would you please post some of the fairy lamps you consider to be Bohemian?
I have already posted eight examples at:

I only posted eight to get the dialog started. I have many more examples that are much more difficult to identify. In addition, I have published a few articles in our Club's newsletter that I would like an expert review of.
