I have really gone over the edge for vintage Christmas. All those bags filled with mixed Christmas goodies...yep I look at every...single...one. I have been known to buy a whole big bag for one or two ornaments...its a bad, really bad addiction.
This treasure was found in one such bag. Probably late 40s from Japan (Japan and Hong Kong are my targets...) Unfortunately getting squished in a bag, broke the ring support on the bottom. I will probably pull it off and figure out some new sort of new system.
I LOVE this. I mean I sit and stare at it.
(oh and note the kitsch tray I found...)
