    This vase was given to me many many years ago who was from the Czech republic. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me anything about it.

      The sticker is that of Železný Brod Sklo.

      Železný Brod is an old glass-producing town founded in the eleventh century. It was originally known as Brod ("ford") or Brodek ("little ford"). Železný ("iron") was added to its name in the fourteenth century, alluding to the town's steelworks. In 1501 the town received its coat of arms, which honored King Vladislav II of Bohemia. In 1880 the town had 2,698 inhabitants and was the seat of the district court. Its cotton spinning mill used 50,000 spindles.

      This is a design of Miroslav Klinger, I think.
      Does the colour change in fluorescent light or black light?
      Might be neodymium.

      I have never noticed the color to change, it is always a green glass. Thank you for the information above.
