The hunt has been really slow for the last month or so. I have made the rounds with no finds whatsoever. Wellllll, guess what! I found a Bitossi in Rimini blue by Aldo Londi on Friday. Whooop! Whoop!
This piece has been on my hit list for a long time. (now the cat!) I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I snagged casually while chatting with one of the gals who work at the store. She didn't notice how closely I clung to this piece.
How I couldn't even shop anymore as I was afraid I would drop it.
How I had a death grip on this blue baby while carefully walking up to the register.
How I wouldn't let the cashier touch it to ring it up.
How I put it in my purse instead of a bag as it might get chipped.
How I am a crazy person, and took a picture of it in the car to send to people.
How scared I was to take it off the shelf to photo it for CW!

I know Amber, isn't that the best feeling after not finding anything for a long time. Makes all the waiting worth it. My first piece of Roseville a small Fuschia vase was the same scenario as your's. Don't know why but I never looked at Christmas decorations from the collectible point of view. I think you may have given me the bug ! Merry Christmas ! -Mike-
