I inherited this ring when I was 15, along with my Daddy's guitar, Leather Harley Davidson hat and his monogrammed Bible.
I still have every one of them. I have them in a display case, which is mounted on the wall. I would love to know more about his ring.
Here's some information my dear friend walksoftly found.
The Wyvern symbol looks so similar to the symbol on my father's ring.
A golden wyvern is believed to have been the symbol of the medieval kingdom of Wessex

Aim, What a BEAUTIFUL Ring! I think mine must be a relative of yours. A rearing Lion, facing a different direction, but so similar too! Gives me an idea of what my ring may have looked like before the years of extreme wear.
