This is a picture of a picture of a turntable a friend had when I was in High school (middle 70s) The name of the turntable is on the right front side to blurry to see. I believe Audio something. It is such a unique turntable I thought someone would know the name of it off the bat. Larry

that a Rega Planet recordplayer, the first model from Rega, collectors un the UK would like something like this one if it still works perfectly

Thanks for naming this, I do not own one, like I said It is a picture of a high school picture, of a friends turntable. It was cool way back then That's why I took a picture of it, and still looks cool. I was going to try to look for one, so in my travels of the search, If I cross one I will let you know.

Ramma I goggled Rega record players, and I did not find that the turntable I have posted in the picture is one of Rega's turntable. Do you have a web page that shows this turntable on it? Otherwise I believe this is still a mystery turntable. I have another photo, but It really does not revel any more then this one.

Got it. I searched all the Rega sites and came up empty. So the web pages you supplied were terrific. I still kind of have a link with the friend, but after high school (1978) we went down separate paths. I do not know if he even still owns it, but it is a cool looking turntable. I will still search one out if they are out there. Thanks again. Cheers

Hi there I have just got this deck from ebay it should be on it's way in the post now I will add photos asp I love the platter on this deck thats why I was very happy to bid on ebay for it & I got it for a snip of £150 for the first ever Rega this deck is a classic I was only 4 when this deck was out but my brother did have it in the mid 1980s I don't know what he did with the deck but the sound was very good from the deck

well deck has come in the post well packed I have set the Rega up Iwill say first of all the sound is very good from a 1973 record player that belongs in space with it's sleek looks & the fun bit is placing a record on the deck & watching the deck spin it took a week to come but well worth it in the long the run, I don't think this deck will ever be for sale again not in my life time & my daughter has got her eye on the deck
