    all original german bisque doll with her original basket filled with her clothes still tied in basket, the little knitting basket was added but everything else is original. she is about 8" tall and fully jointed body. the bottom of the basket still has the FAO sticker on it.

      I would love to know maker of your doll . Is she marked on Neck AM and a number like 390 ? I never saw one that came in a basket and love her clothes that came with her . Museum piece !

      she has a tiny wine bottle and sheet music , undies, two dresses, coat there is a little shattering of the silk but not bad.

      Thank you Pamela a very excellent company and the packaging of her for sale is stunning any girl would have loved her . I asked who made her as I have a little one much like her but not in the spectacular display as yours . Mine is a AM :-)

      For others info on this doll From Germany
      Simon & Halbig was founded in 1839, they began making dolls from 1869 in their two porcelain factories in Gräfenhain and Hidburghausen, near Thuringia, Germany. In 1920 S & H was bought by Kämmer & Reinhardt, who continued to produce dolls until 1932. Sometime after the factory became known as Keramisches Werk Gräfenhain. Simon & Halbig is known for their fine bisque doll heads and innovation in the doll industry, they also supplied doll heads to many other well known doll manufacturers.
