Very well made and probably rare pin. Not sure what it is for but it's marked "U.Y.F." and "Libertad". The back is stamped with a hallmark but it's difficult to read. Any ideas?

I bought it today with a group of unrelated antiques. I figured it was some type of fraternal pin but assume it's quite rare, as I can't find any other example or information when I try to research the acronym "UYF".

I think it's a medal from the Spanish American War. I found one metal detecting similar to this one but it's missing the center piece. I found two others online like the one I have and each has a different center but they are both medals from the Spanish American War. I am trying to do more research on this, if you find out what it is let me know.
