This cherished loveseat belonged to my grandparents. My mother remembers them having it before she and my father married in 1972. She also remembers them having two cranberry velvet chairs, one with arms, one without. Although the fabric was different, the chairs had the same pattern in the wood as the loveseat. The fabric on the loveseat has a beautiful sheen to it....almost like silk. The floral pattern looks as if it were hand sewn. I apologize, I do not know anything about furniture, I hope my description is helpful.
