    An old marble phone I just got,even makes calls which is great! No ringing sound though. It says made in Italy on the bottom and as you can see it says handcrafted for telecom on the leather tag. I think the logo is the old New Zealand post logo but I'm not too sure.
    I don't know any more than that though so if anyone knows what it is or anything at all I would greatly appreciate hearing from you!

      lots of these phones were produced in the late 1970's. The company was Onyx Telmar from Italy. They sold there products to operating telephone companies in the U.S., such as Bell System, GTE, GPO England. Bell System usually removed the dials that came with the phone and added a Western Electric dial.
