Barn fresh 1925 Indian Chief motorcycle I bought a couple of years ago, it is missing a lot of parts but I do have the engine and transmission. Would love to find some of the missing parts so I can get it back on the road.

      Hi,
Thanks for the nice compliment. I have already done a lot of clean up and detailing on it, the engine is being rebuilt this winter. I used a product that is supposed to stabilize old paint and it seems to have worked pretty well, the bike looks quite good now in my opinion. I want to preserve it as much as possible without repainting it since it has never been repainted.

your very welcome !!! I know I looks great of what you have done so far :) I agree if you can not repaint then you have gotten it made , I didn't know there was such a product that you are describing about stabilizing the old paint , that is awesome!! Good Luck tombat, Please show us the ending and final results when you done restoring this stunning bike !!! cant wait :)

Tombat, in Oley Pennsylvania every April they have a big gathering of people selling Indian parts> I go there every year and take pictures of the bikes. The Indians with the front leaf springs always caught my eye.
