I acquired this chair from a relative about 20 years ago in Western Kentucky. It has a lot of nails on the bottom of the chair and some
uneven cuts. The bottom front spindle is longer than the others.

I am trying to determine about what year the chair was made and
any suggestions on finding out other relevant information about it.

If you look at the chair from the bottom you will see the seat isn't original. This type seat was a quick fix.

Thank you fhrjr2. I will post a picture of the bottom of the chair but am looking for a way to determine the age, circa, and something about the construction.
It looks to be hand made.

It may be hand assembled but it isn't hand made.
