This is a medal issued in 1984 to commemorate the Centennial of the Statue of Liberty. The obverse features Lady Liberty's head facing forward with the dual date 1884-1984; the reverse features "100th Anniversary / The Gift of Freedom" and the double eagle design. -- Minted by the National Historic Mint (a private mint not affiliated with the U.S. Mint).
