Here I show a wonderful enameled silver necklace with Marcasites. There is a mark at the back : BJL. The flower is in peach color enamel. I think it's of the Art Nouveau period because of the flower and the moving lines, but I'am not sure. I have this idea because I found a similar to see on this link: http://www.adin.be/en/2ndpage.asp?dtn=11227-0033&titel=Huge%20silver%20Art%20Nouveau%20enameled%20iris%20brooch%20with%20marcasite

What an outstanding piece! I would say its more art nouveau only because of the lack of geometric lines. Whatever and whenever aside its fantastic! Happy hunting!
Thanks for your comment vintagemad!
the last picture looks like markings, can you make them out
Hello Peekaboo, thanks for your comment. The markings are, as far as I can see: BJL . I suppose from the maker but I don't know for sure.
is nit kjl kenneth j lane ?
I would not know Yohanna
Its deffinitely Art Nouveau in style, but it doesn't look to be of that era to me. That is a machine-cut screw on the back, and it just LOOKS later. My guess would be 1940's, which is when lots of sterling costume jewelry was made
You could be right, but I love the color it is realy a beautiful piece of jewelry.
Thanks again for your knowledge!
