This is a $1 Gaming Token from the original Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City, N.J. - Opened in December 1980, it was sold to Bally's in 1986 and renamed Bally's Grand. Several name changes over the years included Atlantic City Hilton, ACH, and finally Atlantic Club Casino-Hotel (which ironically closed permanently at 12:01 AM today January 13, 2014) - Also, not to be confused with the current Golden Nugget Hotel-Casino-Marina Atlantic City located on Castle Avenue which is operated by Landy's.
