This rug was given as a gift back in the 1960's to one of my family members from a friend who was an interpreter for the united states military, and travelled all over the world. Unfortunately, we never learned exactly where the rug came from. Any help indentifying this would be greatly appreciated!....Thank you.

Looks like it's from peru , bolivia or somewhere south american .... Im guessing just on its visual . Nice old piece ....enjoy!
