Hello Everyone, please excuse my absence, I am in the process of relocating back to Las Vegas, Nevada next week. I miss you all & will be back in touch soon. Until then I will post this 1950's Jaeger-LeCoultre ATMOS perpetual motion clock from Switzerland I just picked up today at the Goodwill for $10 and it works like a gem.
You all are the coolest cats I've ever met, and I can't wait to play catch up.
Time as measured by an Atmos clock entails dimensions beyond human understanding: this Caliber 519 model loses only one day every 3821 years. It never needs to be rewound or the need of batteries. It is powered by bellows that expand & contract from atmospheric temperature changes, there for this clock will keep time on it's own for many milleniums. The design was invented in the late 1920's and are still available and made in Geneva, Switzerland. Unfortunately they are extremely expensive, but they are an amazing example of science & engineering.

Aloha SEAN68, Yes $10. I really had no idea about the clock, I thought it was unique & liked it. But I actually walked away, and was sitting in the car and decided to check ebay. The first auction item of this clock was at $935 with 19 bids and 23 minutes to sell. I dropped my phone as I ran back inside & purchased it with great joy. Of course a lot of people got nervous as I literally ran into and through the store! LoL
Thank you for the love! =^)

Hi vetraio50, many many thank yous for the love & good journey. Yes I really did pay $10. But it was a good thing that it worked. There's a front lever that holds the pendulum, the store clerks thought it was broken so it was priced as is. I slid the lever and it worked fine. But this was before I knew that it carried a very expensive market price. =)
