RED WING ... Black Bird - Dove Console Bowl ... Made by Red Wing USA ... M-1467 designed by Charles Murphy.

This is large piece measuring 14" x 7" x 4.5 inches

The color is "black luster", the flash in the second photo altered the color but gives the shave from the side.

   Sorry it took so long for me to respond to your post about your Black Bird Console Bowl. The RWCS held our MidWinter GetTogether last weekend! Great fun for all collectors. I was able to locate on our experts service the following information about your piece:
   
   "Dove is a console bowl, designed by charles murphy in 1954. The glaze color is luster black. Value is around $65.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose"
