    Hi, if you would like to research your cup further, Google: 'lithophane sake cups':
    'moriage' 'rakans'. For mare examples of this type of ware go here:
    Scroll down to the second Dai Nipon, 1218 & 1230, KB, 724, and there are several more. Hope this helps and good luck, Jim

    I have a Kutani sake set with four cups and only the tokura is marked. That is likely the case with yours, so without the tokura there is no way to identify the kiln unless someone with the same set recognizes it. Regards, Jim

    Correction: the sake flask is properly spelled 'tokkuri'.
