I remember this electric clock from more than 55 years ago, as a very small child, on my great grandmother's mantle and later on her upright piano. Its an all original set, complete with porcelain horse and brass frame. This clock has passed from mother to daughter for four generations. I am uncertain what year it was made.
    It still keeps perfect time.

I don't see this model in any of my reference materials but based upon your provenance information and the early history of electric Sessions clocks, my *guess* would be that your heirloom clock is from circa 1932 give or take 7 years. Assuming that your great grandmother may have acquired the clock relatively late in her life, does that sound reasonable to you? I mostly collect mechanical clocks so perhaps another collector who is well versed in antique/vintage electric clocks can provide a more accurate date range. It's a beautiful, well cared for heirloom in any case. Thank you for sharing it with us.

My great grandmother passed in 1964, at an advanced age, and my mother was born in 1932 and she remembered it as a child as well, so I think you are probably correct as to its vintage. I have never seen another complete set like it. I also collect mechanical clocks and this particular clock is the only electric in my collection! As an heirloom, it is priceless, but I am still curious as to its worth. Thanks for your input!
