This is a No. 4 Cartridge Kodak from 1897, by latest patent date. It's a little rough, and someone removed all the leather covering, but frankly, the bare wood looks pretty cool and stands out. Shutter works, but the back isn't light tight. Even if it was, I don't know if film is available. I bought this as a Valentine's gift for my wife (some girls want flowers, some want antique cameras), and thankfully, she liked it.
