Here I have a lot of pink depression glassware I purchased thru an ebay auction today. From the same seller of the unidentified green depression glassware.
I'm having a hard time seeing the pattern on these.
Not sure if it's my eyes, my cellphone, or both. LoL
From what I can see it resembles the tea cups I bought that arrived busted.
    The bowls measure
    4 1/4" in diameter
    2 1/2" H
    The plate measures
    6 1/4" in diameter

Thanks for looking, and possibly helping to solve the mystery!

LoL thank you Fort xo I'm glad it's not just me or my phone. Now I don't have to break our the laptop. I have 2 or 3 patterns with that solid stripe area in between, but I cannot tell from the photos what this one is. I'll have to wait tillthey arrive.

Sad to hear that a piece of history got busted in the shipping process. I hope these pink glass items arrive safely to your home. They look great!

Could the plate design be the Federal glass Normandy pattern?

      Here's a link for reference: http://www.antiquesnavigator.com/d-1292413/federal-glass-pink-depression-glass-normandy-pattern-dinner-plate-very-scarce.html

Another source I found described the pattern as "Normandie is a pattern of flowers and lattice work covering each plate. Manufactured by the Federal Glass Company"

      Here's some more details:

Federal Glass made Normandie from 1933 to 1940 in pink, amber and iridescent orange called Sunburst. I see a lot more iridescent compared to either amber or pink. Sadly this is a pattern on the scarce side, especially in pink. Normandie was not as popular a pattern as Madrid (one of the top 20 Depression Era Patterns). That may have been because it was only offered in Pink and Amber in the early years.

I think you have a super rare dinner plate there. How exciting!!!
      Manufacturing of the pattern: 1933 - 1940
Pattern: Normandie-Pink by FEDERAL GLASS CO [FEGNORP]
Description: PINK, BOUQUET & LATTICE, DEPRESSION

The three footed bowls are the "American Sweetheart" pattern, but I do not have my reference book with me and cannot recall the maker. That's as close as I can come right now.

I have a large collection of this pattern and love to use them because they are soooooo dressy on a victorian table setting.

Just recovered my brain...the maker is McKee.

...or is it MacBeth-Evans? Maybe I haven't recovered my brain....
