I actually have one from the Chesapeake and Potomac region. Would you have any knowledge on the topic and possibly a value? Or place where I could locate such info?
Hi David.... There are a number of different C&P signs. ie:, West Va, Balto city etc. in different sizes. Let me know what size and what inscription and I can help you. Thanks for the question.... Ell
Ell, Very nice Cumberland Telephone sign, I have one you just looked at it's a Mutual Telephone Company booth sign.
It's an 11 by 11 like yours. The only real visible rust is surface on the very edges of the sign. Nothing marring its overall surface.
All it says is The Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Co.Of Balto.City American Telephone & Telegraph Co.
