We inherited this large clock from my late father-in-law who was a railroad fanatic. It works and looks great. But I have no idea if it's real or what it's value is for insurance. Any help would be appreciated.

The clock is definitely of the same period as this rail line. The real question would be if the graphic is original to the clock or was added by someone at a much later date. This is an electric self winding clock isn't it? Here's another cool like: http://www.1-800-4clocks.com/Self-Winding-American-Clock-Company-of-Chicago-Clock_AC3010
