by the color of the clay, and the glazing underneath, i'd judge this piece to be a piece of Zanesville ware. The glaze is really specatcular.

i don't have much info. i purchased it and the Awaji console bowl on etsy for $20. i would love to learn more about this one in case anyone else has any insight. i think that this is Zanesville Pottery, but the crystalline glaze is particularly unusual.
