Hello Everybody. In the past, candidates would hand out reminders to vote for them, this is one of those, I believe. An enameled brass pocket watch fob with an Eagle Shield design with "United We Stand... Divided We Fall" on the eagle banner, along with "One for all...All for one" across the bottom and an open hole to insert a cellulose photo likeness. Not real sure of dating this, so if anyone has seen a complete or knowledge of era, please update me with ideas. My guess would be late 1800's into the 1930's, but again an educated guess as per design.
Just an afterthought, hole might have housed a compass, I don't know :-)
Thanks for looking and looking forward to any info that might be shared.
Kerry

This one is not exactly like yours, but similar. And it has a candidate's picture in it. Still looking!

You know, I wonder if this is not a "Son In The Service" type item from WW II, or even WW I. The hole could be for a pic of the son, etc. You might want to check out scottvez's page, I know he likes that kind of thing, and he has a lot more than I do. Good luck! And I love the enamel color!
