I'm at a slight loss here for information. Calling this a Saratoga Trunk. It appears to have painted a lime green at some time, and then someone half way tried to strip the paint. All the hardware is in place, original key and it even has four small wheels on the base. I believe the trunk has some potential for restoring. The markings on the inside (pictured) read: Huzza Trunk Factory, Wallace & Huzza, Atlanta GA . It is difficult to obtain much information on the item.

I'd say you've got some work ahead of you but it will be fun and well worth it. The "Saratoga trunk" name was given to those of better quality and with the extras. . I think yours qualifies. Wish you would post it again, when you are finished.
