Standing bear - from hundreds I've looked at online, never found another like it. Seems to be stuffed with excelsior and is very solid. About 9" tall at top of head and almost 12" from ear to tail. Head turns. It would have been purchased in the New England area in the early 1940s.
Much-loved by children but not worn or torn. I would love to learn more about it since it is a family treasure.
Very cute bear
