These two lamps I think are from the 1980' or 1970's. They are very heavy and have a gold rope that hangs on them. They are 4ft tall from floor to where you attach the lamp shade. I have owned them for 14 years.

Nice to see a good Reglor lamp. Very nice. I have given several people info on the lamps and here is some more : Phil.

Bernie Stein and Rena Stein began Regor of California in 1947. Reglor is the combination of the names Rena and her cousin Gloria. Credit for the design inspirations is to be shared with Oscar Vega, a production assistant. Reglor lamps were frequently produced as a male and female pair. Some of the designs were copied and Reglor sued and it was a small victory as before long there were others who copied designs and it became too much to sue. These lamps became very popular during the 40's to 1960's, and are still popular in the collecting field today. The distinctive shades of Reglor lamps were also made in house. Some of their shades are also a collectors dream. Production stopped in 1975 when the Reglor factory in Montebello, California burned.

Would you say in your opinion that these are authentic? How many sets did they make of each design? I was not sure if this set was rare or common as I could not find them in any search. Also, would you know if this set has a name? Would you know if they came with shades and if so what they looked like? I am very grateful for the information, it was very exciting to read about them.
