It is in perfect condition. The only flaw is that the tray has a chip out of one corner. When I first opened it, it smelled like fresh plastic/vinyl on the inside. It has the key and the original tag. The lock works perfectly.
I love these things. I have a turquoise pair of the large suitcases from this line too.

Hey, I received a set of Samsonite luggage for my high school graduation in 1952!
Still have them.

Sorry geekasarus .I have a friend down block that loves these. They ae also great for putting you small collectibles in.Is this a samsonite?
What does inside look like nice too?
It says Samsonite.
the inside is in perfect condition and it has the original tray. when i opened it for the first time it smelled like new plastic
Yes dont see key and tray too much.I use mine for watches.Yes viking I did not look at other pic after it opened. I see now.
i keep all my medicine in it, which is nice since it locks
I have the entire 4pc set of this line. Similar in color with original keys. Granny only bought the best, kept it in excellent shape inside and out, and never threw anything away. They stack beautifully at the end of a sofa for a great end table and conversation piece.
Wonderful vintage train case ! These last forever !
