Here I have a very Stunning Antique Nippon Vase that I purchased off Etsy today. The photos and info are the sellers, which I did get permission to use from the lovely lady I purchased the vase from name Karin at TimeSpanTreasures.
I will update the photos once it arrives.
It has a round squat shape with two loop handles.
It also has a Nippon blue maple leaf mark on the bottom, which dates it to circa 1891-1911.
It is beautifully hand painted with rich dark pink roses, delightful violet flowers, delicate green leaves, and gold beading and color.
There are gold beads - paint dots around the top, around the collar, and on the body, where they form a zigzag pattern between the roses and violet flowers.
This vase is approximately...
7-1/2" tall, measuring to the top of the handles. Not counting the handles, the vase body is about 6" high, measuring to the points on the top rim.
Overall it is approximately...
6-1/2" across.
3" diameter base.

LoL WS, I was biting my nails in anticipation of this purchase. It cost over 2/3 more than the first one I purchased but I could not resist this one. Gorgeous purple violets mixed in with the roses. Total winner for me.

Right now the other vase is in the three piece wall cabinets I picked up a couple weeks ago. I don't think I've posted them.

I'd not heard of Nippon before. This is lovely, love its shape & the flowers are sublime.
