This is a radiator badge form a 1926 Star automobile sent to me by kerry10456 (THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!) I love enamel, the more colorful the better. I had posted some other badges that I have (Buick, Rockne and Durant). Kerry saw them and offered me the Star badge. It's displayed in the second pic with the 3 others I mentions, a dealer placard and 3 Chevrolet pins which I have posted separately. My favorite book back in my high school days was about a kid that fixes up a 1925 Star as a coming-of-age project (Heartbreak Hot Rod, James L Summers 1958), so this brings back great memories. Thanks again Kerry for the wonderful gift! It has a permanent place in my collection!

My dad had a love affair with Star cars, and owned several. His favorite was a 1926 Star coupe. He taught me how to drive a clutch in that car. I was 14 years old, and the car was 50. He had lots of emblems too.

I'm glad this brought back those memories tjmoon. I learned to drive a stick on a late 40s Willys station wagon. Ah, youth!
