    Same info as before...Looks like a child's chair or some type of farm house chair. I am hoping to learn the type of style or time period it is from. Anything would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

      Although chairs are usually undervalued [except for eames ones!], southern furniture and particularly kentucky furniture has a strong market these days. so i'd say you could have a sleeper, but maybe not! Regardless of it's market value, i love old, handmade chairs like these and so am squirreling them away for a day when they will again be appreciated for their historical and aesthetic value.

      ho2cultcha, I agree! I love to keep these around to just admire the work. I am trying to put a new rush seat on, so maybe I will post the results. Thanks for helping!

      I'm glad to see others say handmade it was my thought but from different times as the wood looks different. Good one
