Sterling Silver and Marcasite Vintage Pin Made in Germany

This is a lovely pin I had my eyes on for some time. The only problem was that the price was too high and I am a bargain shopper. When I went back to the store last week, the pin was 50% off and I went for it! There are a few marcasite missing but I will take care of that later.
The pin is marked “Germany” and “Sterling”. I believe it was made in the 1930’s or 1940’s, but I am not too sure.
