This is one of my favorite pieces, and I'm lucky to have it. I saw it two years ago on Labor Day at the Hartville flea market and the seller wouldn't budge on price, so I left it behind and berated myself repeatedly! Exactly a year later I went back and there it was! This time a different seller had it and excepted my offer of 27 bucks. It has its original burnt orange paint, wood knob and a lovely parrot decal. It's a super sturdy, heavy little piece with just the right amount of paint wear. It looks perfect in my orange kitchen with black and white tile.

Very nice, and I love that tin wall? Gorgeous.

Thanks Aimathena:) Actually, its a thick foam-like wallpaper that you then paint any color. When we bought our little 1927 foreclosure house, the kitchen was covered in this awful tile board. When I went to take it down and saw the nightmare underneath, I knew the answer was to go over it rather than under. It covers any wall imperfections, its cheap and everyone just goes crazy over it. I loved it so much I used a similar pattern in the bathroom and painted it a pretty grey. Highly recommend it!

It has so much character, I really like it.
