It is a restricted Navy manual from August 1943 that details how a Hellcat is put together and maintained on all typewritten pages. There are numerous pictures of the plane in the manual and schematics as well as all the details related to the building and use of the plane. It also includes towards the end the companies used and where all the parts are from for the plane. All pages are intact with the exception of one diagram having half of the page torn out. It is about 300 pages thick. The plane was first used in September 1943. So this manual seems to have been created shortly before its first use. Does anyone know of any others like this or is this possibly a rare item? Any feedback would be appreciated my friends and thank you in advance.
