Picked this up today, I'm not into bottles much but I cant remember seeing one wth a decal like this before. Wonder what it was for? Whiskey? Mineral water? I think it might be whiskey from some other bottle with similar lettering.

Some of the other wording is "Wm. Hoelscher" on the left side and "San Francisco" on the right side. -- Wm. Hoelscher & Co. had purchased the winery in 1903 and used the DeTurk label up until repeal; and the restarted again after repeal up until about 1941.

Yeah I did find the Hoelscher connection on another bottle somewhere.
So I guess it dates from either 1903-1920, or 1933-1941 then?

If I was going to guess - I would say the earlier period because of the blue glass color.
