Would anyone be able to tell me more about this item, name, age etc.
it has a label Hanfords Made in Taiwan
when you wind up the blue ball on the base it plays music.

Nutcrackers are great on their own, add a music box and you've got yourself an awesome collectable :)

I wish I did, I'm sorry I do not. I only have two or three Nutcrackers, no musical ones. I haven't really went all out with collecting them... yet. LoL I wish you much luck in your search.

What is made from and may I ask you why you say it is a nutcracker...I can't see where you place a nut...:-)
it seems to be plastic. Very hard plastic bottom. I called it a nutcracker because I have no idea and it looks like one of the nutcracker guys. But no it doesn't crack nuts
But it attracts nuts? LoL :) sometimes you feel like a nut...
