I really like the shape and texture of this brass piece. It's a small 6 3/4" flat dish with a little bell shaped pedestal. It is signed on the bottom with a dot pick mark, "Sarna Brass India" and some numbers. There was also a paper tag inside the base that just said "Melissa" written in pen. I saw quite a few pieces online so it made it fairly easy to date between 1960-70. It sounds exactly like a small cymbal and now that I think about it I feel it just might be one of a pair. The pedestal could just be the handle. Either way it has a nice 60's modern look to it as a dish. -Mike-
