Seth Thomas introduced the stylish Streamline Moderne "Tabor" Model 1E ca. 1932. It's one of the rarer ST electric clocks of the Deco era. Ahead of its time stylistically, it features a very sleek looking dial with unique skeleton hands, arrow-shaped sweep second, and bold Modernist numerals.

The Tabor has a black lacquered wooden case with brass trim bands, bezel, and base, and a painted metal back plate. I've replaced the deteriorated cord with a fabric wrapped one and a vintage bakelite plug. Seth Thomas used premium quality mechanisms in their clocks and this one still runs silently after 80 years. The Tabor measures about 5” wide x 5 1/4” tall x 3" deep.

I have not seen a beautiful clock like this for a long time. I'm impress by the face and hands of the clock. Such a delicate design. Congratulations!

Beautiful clock. Nice restoration touch using period appropriate cord and plug.

Sexy clock!!! :) I'm normally an "old wooden case clock" type of gal but wow this one is so sleek. Likin' it a lot! I usually look past any type of clock attached to a plug but I may have to keep a wider eye out at the auctions now. Thank you for broadening my horizons!
